Toronto, Ontario, Canada November 18, 1999
Microforum Inc. (TSE:MCF) is not aware of any material event that is not
disclosed in the marketplace to account for the recent increase in trading
volume and price of its shares. Two securities firms recently issued buy
recommendations for the Company's stock on November 1, 1999 and November 16,
1999, respectively. In addition, the Company does point out that there has been
a recent increase in trading activity in the overall Internet sector.
