Great question! Homeowners’ insurance typically covers damage from things like storms or fires. But basic homeowners’ insurance usually doesn’t cover breakdowns from normal wear and tear, and that’s where a plan from HomeServe comes in.

No worries, the age of your home does not disqualify you! If your home systems and appliances are in working order when you enroll in coverage and have been installed according to manufacturer's specs and building codes, you're good to go.
